Services
Contracted
Curriculum Work:
District budgets do not allow for the services of a fulltime curriculum
coordinator. James Daniel and Associates will work on a contracted basis
with your district to facilitate curriculum matters following your state’s
expectations. Each plan will be devised with specific goals, expectations
and timelines to be met by James Daniel and Associates. We write curriculum
following the state model required in your state.
Contracted
Professional Development:
Schools want to offer specifically designed and consistent professional
development programs in order to get the best results in student achievement
and instructional process. Let James Daniel and Associates work with
you to plan a specified program for a series of in-service days, an
Act 48 plan, or a defined professional development institute. We have
a network of professional trainers who can facilitate many of the “cutting
edge” issues now being deemed necessary for professional development.
Meeting
No Child Left Behind with Procedural Reading and Writing:
Secondary schools are faced with the issue of No Child Left Behind.
This program provides a way to connect reading and writing across the
curriculum. Using the research and practical approaches to enhancing
literacy skills for secondary students, James Daniel and Associates
can lay out a complete professional development process for your school.
Program Evaluation:
Many times there are specific programs within a school that the board
of education or the administrative staff believes need to be evaluated.
James Daniel and Associates have experience with evaluating both large
scale and small scale programs. Let James Daniel and Associates become
the “other set of eyes” that can base recommendations on data collection
completed in a most objective way.
Instructional
Audit:
Have you ever considered the actual instructional style of the teachers
in your school? Many times administrators believe that they know what
instructional delivery is used by most of their instructors. An instructional
audit involves a team from James Daniel and Associates spending three
days in your school monitoring the instructional delivery method of
teachers. The final report consists of a breakdown of the types of delivery
seen by the team. This audit gives administrators a true evaluation
of instructional delivery methods used by teachers. With this knowledge,
the administrative team can plan professional development training based
on data.
Administrator
Search:
Many school districts are having difficulty finding administrators to
fill positions. James Daniel and Associates will help you through the
process. The members of the organization come from across Pennsylvania
and from numerous states beyond Pennsylvania. Our networking can help
to locate candidates for your open position. The James Daniel organization
will do the search, the screening, and the introduction of candidates
to the school and community.
