His new book on this concept is scheduled for release in the early summer of 2008. He is a co-author of the book "Aligning Standards and Curriculum for Classroom Success". This book was honored by the Pennsylvania Association of Supervision and Curriculum Directors with the Outstanding Research and Publication Award in 2002. The book outlines the process that schools can use to focus standards achievement while integrating curriculum across the traditional disciplines.
